Top 10 date production countries
The bar graph shows date production in tones for the world’s top producers in 2001. Ten countries in the Gulf region and northern Africa are featured.
Egypt was the biggest country in date production which it was over million tones. Then Iran followed Egypt which was the second country and produce 0.9 million tones. Later came the UAE and Saudi Arabia with the same tones of production which it was more than 700, 000 tones. Pakistan and Iraq was about 630,000 tones while the rest of the countries were less productive. Algeria’s production was about 400,000 tones and Oman was about a 250,000 tons. 200,000 tons were supplied by Sudan and Libya which it was low production.
In conclusion, the highest counties of date production were Egypt and Iran and the lowest countries were Libya and Sudan.
