Proportion of people over 65 and under 25
The graph showed the proportion of people over 65 and under 25 in year 2007 in six countries.
The proportion over 65 was highest in Spain, it was around 40 % and then France which was closely the same percentage as Spain and then comes Wales. The country which has the smallest proportion of people over 65 was Egypt with percentage of 20%.Both of France and Spain got the same proportion of people under 25 which is 20% but not the lowest. The highest country in proportion of people under 25 was Egypt then came Tunisia and Wales. Only Turkey had an equal proportion of people over 65 and under 25.
In summary, Wales was the only European country with a higher proportion of younger people than older. France and Spain were the only countries that had a higher proportion of older people than young while Tunisia had the highest proportions of younger people.
